Role Description

* Mine, utilize, and communicate relevant market insight to Sales leadership

* Collaborate with the global telecommunications sales leader to understand telecommunications market dynamics, opportunities, and sales objectives

* Keep track of pipeline evolution across the different stages of the funnel aiming for a 30%+ CAGR

* Manage the global telecommunications marketing budget to ensure maximum return on investment

* Develop with the regions and monitor the marketing execution planning for the telecommunication vertical

* Manage the efforts of the global telecommunications marketing team

* Contribute to the definition, development and execution of global marketing programs to drive telecommunications customer and prospect engagement, generate new, cross and up-sell pipeline, and accelerate sales through direct and indirect routes to market

* Work with global and regional cross-functional marketing teams to refine global campaigns for the telecommunications market; develop new campaigns, programs, and content

* Communicate relevant marketing initiatives, sales training, events, product announcements, sales enablement tools and resources, etc. to the Sales team

* Work with global marketing and operations teams to ensure proper lead importing, nurturing, and tracking

* Report program and campaign results to Sales leadership and stakeholders

* Be the main connection point for the telecommunications vertical efforts within the Infrastructure team; support the development and implementation of product positioning and launch plans globally

* Dedicate 20% of your time to support LATAM telecommunication vertical efforts

* Guide content and strategy for our field telecommunications marketers in NA, EMEA, and APAC

Required skills

* 10+ years of business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience, preferably in a field marketing capacity

* 10+ years of marketing experience in the telecommunications or media vertical

* 10+ years of software industry experience

* History of guiding successful marketing programs for the telecommunications or media vertical to acquire new customers, grow solutions footprints in existing installed base, broaden and deepen engagement with contacts in target accounts, and accelerate sales

* Experience working with senior sales leadership and cross-functional teams

* Positive attitude, solid work ethic, good organization skills, and presentation and communication skills

* Thorough understanding of direct and indirect sales needs, buying cycle, campaign metrics and analysis, and market intelligence resources

* Demonstrated people management skills, creativity, and initiative

* Willingness to travel 25% domestically and up to 45% internationally
