Product Marketing Manager, Brand Advertising,-N.Y.C PMM-938754

A successful candidate has experience working with digital brand products, and knows how to drive advertiser
acquisition, retention and education with strategic marketing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background
developing and managing product marketing programs that scale globally through sales teams, agencies, as well as
through direct marketing. He or she must have a deep understanding what uniquely differentiates Twitter as a
product and service, and how Twitters advertising products offer unique value in the context of the broader digital
advertising market.

 

Responsibilities:

–  Develop go-to-market vision, strategy, and success metrics for new features and ongoing marketing initiatives to drive

adoption of existing products

– Understand and consider competitive landscape and target markets in marketing strategies and messaging

– Define value proposition, user benefits, and product positioning for each release and campaign; have the ability to scale
these messages globally

– Inform sales enablement strategy, and train local sales teams as needed

– Manage beta programs for new brand products, defining success metrics, client selection, and program logistics

– Synthesize and prioritize sales team and market input for consideration by product and engineering teams

– Analyze competitive product offerings and educate internal teams about them

– Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product and sales
teams

 

Requirements:

– Bachelors degree, MBA preferred

– 6+ years of work experience overall, 3+ years of marketing experience

– Deep understanding of online advertising, particularly with brand products (brand measurement, homepage takeovers,
rich media). Ad platform, agency, or publisher experience strongly preferred.

– Experience working with product management and engineering organizations

– Experience working with a global sales force

– Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to make complex features simple and compelling

– Critical thinker who is motivated to seek data to inform his or her work

– Passion for Twitter, selling, storytelling, the customer, market dynamics and opportunities
