The Field Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for all marketing and PR activities within the defined region.

Amongst other marketing related activities, it is expected that the position will provide input into and field execution of, all marketing programs in the region.  This role is focused on developing and executing marketing awareness programs and lead generation campaigns relevant to the regional marketplace.  You will need to stay abreast of the hospitality industry, its buyers, influencers, industry associations and the general marketplace.  You will need to work closely with the corporate marketing team, product management, sales and senior leadership in the company.  Transfer of regional business knowledge back to the corporate marketing team for future program development is an essential part of the position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Be responsible for the assessment of existing and potential markets, campaigns, events and other marketing services, definition of promotional activities and product launch.

-Direct the development of regional marketing program.  Activities may include product advertising/promotion; planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs; and directing the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).

-Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

-Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.  Ensure that projects are completed on time following established procedures and schedules.  Ensure all results are “captured” and full ROI analysis is performed on each regional event – for future planning and management.

-Identify current practices and emerging trends in the area of marketing functional expertise.

-Conduct market research/competitive analysis as and when required, design, develop and manage all tradeshows, events, conferences & exhibitions including attendance if needed.

-Exercise independent judgment in marketing project development, implementation and support involving upper management in major decisions.

-Communicate and/or present group or department activities to employees, customers, prospective customers, alliance partners and industry analysts as required.

-Perform other duties as and when assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Essential:

-5 or more years’ experience managing marketing programs for business to business organization within the region.

-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related fields; or equivalent work experience.

-3+ years Digital Marketing experience.

-Travel:  30% Domestic & International

Desirable:

-Previous experience working with enterprise software providers.

-Previous marketing experience within the hospitality industry.

-Multi or bilingual in English & German:  Strong editing, writing and proof reading skills in the above noted languages.

-Superior communication skills, written and verbal.

-Able to work in a fast-paced team oriented environment.

-Extensive experience in developing business to business marketing strategies and working directly with creative resources on a wide variety of online and offline tactics including: direct mail (print and electronic), event coordination, lead generation, social media marketing, advertisement, public relations and database marketing, with a demonstrated track record in successful marketing initiatives. Outstanding organizational, project and time management skills.

-Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members.

Application Software Proficiency:

-Use of Microsoft Office related products – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

-Working knowledge of web conferencing software – WebEx or Go To Meeting.

-Use of CRM software .

-Experience of marketing automation and/or email distribution software.

-Use of Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, SharePoint & other emerging social media platforms.

-Flexibility with people.
