Our client a leading provider of services for individuals with developmental disabilities is seeking an Executive Director who will lead the Community Collaborative service areas in a specific geography in Moscow.  We believe that the individuals we serve have the right to a full and meaningful life, which includes a choice of where they live, who they live with and how they live their lives.  The Executive Director will oversee all services and people who make this possible. The ideal candidate will accomplish the following:


  • Successful coaching and development of directors, managers and staff
  • Set the right competency priorities for directors, managers and staff
  • Select staff to fit the culture and create the environment to grow their impact
  • Work with other senior leaders to create the right culture and tone for our success
  • Critically assess the needs for development
  • Implement retention strategies

Successful Operational management

  • Develop and implement efficient processes for day to day operations in multiple locations and services
  • Provide resources and supports to meet our brand and contractual promises
  • Assure that information is flowing in all needed directions to promote operational efficiency
  • Set outcome goals, KPIs and ensure data needed to improve performance is captured
  • Work with other senior leaders to adjust operations to meet demand for service
  • Provide overall performance reports

Financial performance

  • Responsible for the financial wellness of the region
  • Establish controls within the department to avoid waste, control spending and maintain accountability to agency requirements
  • Work with other senior leaders to develop financial performance goals
  • Collaborate with other leaders on the development and implementation of performance data
  • Monitor leading measures of performance in pursuit of meeting or exceeding performance goals

Quality Management

  • Understand all contractual and licensing standards and requirements
  • Accountable for regulatory performance requirements
  • Consult with senior leaders on quality challenges
  • Develop implementation plans for new requirements
  • Hold all staff to high standards of performance
  • Assure that quality measures are transparent and well known by all staff
  • Analyze data for trends, use data in decision making, and set expectations for staff to do the same

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is highly preferred
  • Must have at least 8 years supervisory experience
  • Proven track record in organizational change and/or in turn-around management experience
  • Exceptional skills in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
  • Experience in building, managing, and motivating staff
  • Proven experience in program leadership and evaluation in a human services field
  • Must be able to think critically and provide strategic guidance
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and to work independently
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present and speak publicly on relevant issues
  • Must possess strong and collaborative approach to managing relationships within complex environments.
  • Occasional travel required
