Business Development Manager Job Duties:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating and leveraging new and established professional and personal referral relationships within your market geography in order to produce leads for engagement opportunities.
Once identified you will be responsible for penetrating into the prospective client through traditional methodologies including warm referral through known relationships to cold calling. Opportunity penetration will result in face to face meetings with senior client leadership (typically C-Suite executives). You will negotiate engagement terms and successfully close these opportunities and continue to act in a client relationship capacity for engagement quality control as well as expansion opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate:
A sales professional with a high degree of self-motivation and a proven ability to execute aggressive business development initiatives, tenacity to chase sales leads and close deals to grow their business portfolio through solutions based selling. A consultative professional with the ability to quickly assess situations for opportunity, establish effective partnerships and collaboration with clients, build positive working relationships with peers and business leaders. Solid business acumen with solutions selling expertise in finance or IT. – Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience as a solutions sales or staffing professional
– Minimum 5 years of solutions sales experience
