Manager’s Office (www.managersoffice.net )on behalf of our client is looking for a COMMERCIAL MANAGER. The role requires an understanding of COMMERCIAL MANAGER principals and the ability to develop the division.

General Duties and Responsibilities, include:

  • Refers to the Management
  • Participation to the scheduling of Business Policy of the Division
  • Participation in the communication with the houses we represent of both inland and abroad
  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Set policies and processes
  • Sales strategy – presales /sales/after sales
  • Marketing strategy
  • KPIS in ERP, CRM
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Reporting to Management
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Responsible for the supervision and expansion of the sales network
  • Responsible for the implementation of the business and credit policies
  • Responsible for the supervision of the Key Performance Indexes of the dealer network and for the reporting to the Management.
  • Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term
  • Analysing the business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and cost of goods sold
  • Managing budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements
  • Lead role in advising around pricing for commercial contracts
  • Driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
  • Partnering with business managers to drive financial performance
  • Supporting the Sales and Marketing department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities
  • Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or similar executive role  5 years
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Experience in Sales strategy
  • Experience in Marketing Strategy
  • CRM- ERP experience
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA
