Role Description 

Lead development of evidence-based guidance for financial targets and demand forecasts for the U.S., aligning stakeholders on assumptions and analytical methods:
*Facilitate strategic planning, scenario development, and opportunity assessment
*Assess event risk, competitive pressures, and effects of reimbursement policy
*Provide strategic decision support for the clinical and early phase pipeline
*Integrate forecasts with promotion impacts
*Reports to Commercial Assessment Lead in Commercial Decision Analytics

Responsibilities
*Responsible for forecasting support of the Oncology portfolio of products (both in-line products and pipeline assets).
*Manage multiple forecasting projects concurrently
*Lead interactions with Finance, Business Development, Marketing, and Strategy, facilitating alignment on forecast process and assumptions across these organizations
*Engage with senior commercial leaders and provide insights to support decision making
*Lead and execute high-quality, accurate analysis through stakeholder engagement, applying cutting-edge analytical methods
*Communicate model results and Implications to senior leadership and business partners
*Gain stakeholder buy-in on forecast tool architecture and forecast process automation, and execute the solution
*Provide guidance to junior members of the CA team on tool/methodology development, and stakeholder engagement and alignment
*As a member of the BAI client engagement team, partner with BU aligned BAI colleagues and other CDA members to provide BAI support

Qualifications
*12-15 years of total quantitative/analytics experience, and
*8-10 years of pharma experience
*Consultative problem-solving approach, customer orientation, and strong collaboration skills
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Extensive experience developing sales volume-based, patient-based, and epidemiology forecasts of pharmaceutical sales and product administrations
*Ability to effectively facilitate a cross-functional discussion and achieve alignment
*Ability to work closely with senior management and clients, providing business insights, challenging their thinking, and managing their expectations
*Proficient in forecasting pipeline, launch, and in-line products
*Excellent knowledge of time series analysis and statistical methodology
*Background in a forecasting or planning function with Oncology is preferred
*In-depth knowledge of the pharma industry: oncology therapeutic approaches, key players, reimbursement dynamics, market levers and business drivers
