Our client is one of the largest motorcycles distributor in Greek Market which is seeking to appoint a General Manager based in Athens.
Reporting to the Chairman of the Board, the General Manager will be responsible for the daily administration and organizational management of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes leadership skills and motivates employees to ensure cost control and labor management
  • Provides management, guidance, advice to workers and collaborators, identifies and meets staff needs and requirements, and implements the decisions of the Board of Directors.
  • Develops and monitors the implementation of internal procedures and protocols and develops corporate culture oriented to developing individual initiatives and free flow of information.
  • Develops strategic planning by studying economic opportunities and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve the organizational goals and objectives and coordinates efforts to establish contracts, Marketing activities and corporate staff actions.
  • Responsible for all operations, including, but not limited to: Training, adhering to Company policies/procedures, guest relations, increasing sales volume, attendance, Cost of Goods, labor management, financial management, inventory, developing movie show times and building maintenance and financial management.
  • Creates workable plans to increase operation execution, utilizing financial results, guest satisfaction surveys, and staff reports.

Knowledge / Experience & Skills:

  • The successful candidate will be a dynamic, experienced individual who is organized and methodical, and capable of setting up the range of systems needed to ensure the smooth and safe use of the procedures of the company
  • 5-10 years experience in the field of motorcycles
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of Demand Planning
  • Ability to monitor KPI targets to effectively allocate resources for maximum performance
  • Ability to influence senior Sales, Operations, and  business leaders within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with willingness to collaborate across different departments, sometimes virtually
  • Strong analytical and problem solving / decision-making skills
  • Highly developed planning and organizational abilities


Required qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in managing financial and organizational matters
  • Fluency in English, is desirable.
  • Leader, able to motivate, develop and manage.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professional attitude and ability to work under pressure and out of hours
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or other certification preferred
