Our client is seeking a Deputy Clinical Director. In this role you will administer all facets of Company’s residential program, including operations, programs, and community relations. You will ensure the professional and expeditious provision of social services of the women and their children who reside within the shelter program and for those who participate in the shelters’ Aftercare programs.

Reporting to the Clinical Director and serving as a member of the Senior Management team, you will advise and assist in the development and implementation of policies, programs and strategic priorities for the agency. You will play a lead role in developing agency advocacy positions and will represent the agency advocacy positions on various city-wide committees/coalitions.

Oversee the shelter program ensuring goals and outcomes are met, a high quality of service is provided and are in compliance with funding mandates and goals.

Design and implement new program initiatives.

Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation.

Manage shelter relations with government regulatory agencies, funders and local community agencies.

Ensure shelter facilities are well maintained and safe.

Provide clinical and administrative supervision to direct reports.

Collaborate with Deputy Director, Non-residential Services on best practices and intra-departmental collaboration

Consults with Director of Operations and Administration regarding administrative issues and facility capital, maintenance, and safety matters.

Collaborates with Agency Facilities Manager

Serves as member of the agency’s senior management team.

Works collaboratively with all agency departments.

Works with board committees as appropriate.
Eight years or more of progressive responsibility in program management. Residential services experience and experience managing multiple sites preferred.

The ability to remain calm in a crisis situation.

Excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.

An understand of and ability to work with people of diverse national, ethnic, cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds.
