Due to business expansion, our client is looking for a professional with:
Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree in Finance or a business related subject
• 3 years financial accounting experience, preferably gained in a fast moving, large, multinational environment
• Sound knowledge of accounting and finance processes
• Previous experience as senior accountant
• Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles
• Ideally experience of a Shared Services environment or at least a multi-site business
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Experienced user of Microsoft applications and ERP systems, knowledge of SAP would be considered an advantage
• Evidence of working to tight deadlines
• Team player, action oriented with attention to detail and accuracy
• Very good customer service skills, problem analysis and problem solving skills
• Ability to transfer information & knowledge to other team members
If you join us, your Key Responsibilities will be:
• Transferring knowledge to the rest of the team members and providing quality training to new team members
• Delivering accurate, complete and timely accounting information for all countries under his/ her responsibility
• Delivering accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Delivering accurate and timely period end accounts
• Validating and entering accurately all entries into all individual country General Ledger,
• Preparing monthly, annual and ad-hoc financial reports in accordance with closing and other timetables of the countries under his/her responsibility
