This role calls for an experienced HR professional, who will be responsible for overseeing and improving our clients HR department, while collaborating with Geneva office to execute and deliver on global HR strategies. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HR operation, HRIS management/reporting, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation and payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of HR programmes. Partner with management to design and communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Contribute to various international and local projects such as organizational change projects, restructuring projects and implementation projects
  • Work closely with our Geneva office
  • Lead the annual HR processes, including performance management, compensation rounds, talent development and succession planning
  • Coach line management on initiatives such as career management and development actions, and on matters such as disciplinary actions, change and conflict management, and termination of employment
  • Support the different leadership teams in calibrating their staff within the performance management framework and facilitate quality discussions with their staff
  • Drive annual salary review and incentive process, and prepare analysis of internal and external benchmark data to provide a basis for decision-making
  • Administer benefits, including health and welfare, as well as retirement savings plan, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Manage visa process for international new hires and current staff (including application process, tracking renewals, potential green cards and compliance with regulatory agencies)
  • Maintain and continue to improve HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now) to best service the HR and Accounting team needs, as well as management reporting
  • Work with management teams and employees to understand development needs to improve and design the learning and development program

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university (ideally with focus on personnel management, economics or other HR-related subjects)
  • 8-12 of experience in a HR generalist/management role, preferably in a major global company or complex matrix organization
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize
  • Broad and general HR professional knowledge
  • Proven success and experience in the HR business partner field, including approved track record of designing and implementing HR policies
  • Fluent in English; other languages would be an advantage
  • Results driven with strong analytical skills
  • Strong customer focus and ability to empathize with others
