Our client is a thriving global player in the logistics, distribution and warehousing industry. Their business is booming and double-digit annual growth has been the norm for over two decades. New locations are coming on-line at a pace of several per year. <\/span><\/span>

\nThe General Manager and the Sales Manager together run the business and co-own the P&L.
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nAs General Manager, this position runs the operations day-to-day and must be actively involved in leading the hourly teams and supervisors.
\nIt is a fast-paced warehouse setting with a lot of inbound and outbound traffic and material.
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nTheir customers are diverse but are often in the world of consumer products.
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nThere is considerable interaction with those customers (both manufacturers and retailers), and they are often visitors to the facility.
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nOther areas of responsibility include cost control & operational budget, inventory and AP.
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nThe best fit will be someone who can be the “Floor General”, keeping the daily ops flowing smoothly, and who also has a good grasp of their key performance metrics & the financials.
