Job Summary<\/strong>

\n* Effectively manage technical and financial operations for project design, integration and service of audiovisual systems. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Manage internal activities including all engineering, CAD, programming, field engineering, shop activities, installation and repair services, on-going engineering project support, and project sign off
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Manage external activities including all out-sourced or sub-contract work in support of project installation activities<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

* Oversee budget for technical services department and make recommendations to General Manager for department needs
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Manage internal activities to support client expectations
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Mentor Level I, II and III technicians in absence of Installation Manager
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Monitor and ensure labor expenditures do not exceed department budget
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Coordinate with Installation Manager as needed to secure necessary man power for installation jobs
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Manage internal activities that support client training
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Manage or facilitate field testing of integrated systems and training client on use
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Customer liaison in absence of Project Manager
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Create and maintain project related documentation in accordance with company guidelines Maintain scheduling and resources for the department<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

* Travel to various job sites required
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n*Other duties assigned as needed
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Skills and Abilities <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

* Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives with a results oriented approach
\n
\n* Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Understanding of technical aspects of audiovisual systems design and installation preferred
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Ability to motivate and effectively lead large project teams comprised of technical and administrative personnel toward a common goal
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Understanding of construction project management applied to audiovisual projects
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Proficient with AV, project management theory and practices or other electro-mechanical installation techniques
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Proficient with test and calibration equipment preferred<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

* Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is preferred
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Minimum 4 years of Management experience in similar or related field
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Experience in the AV industry is preferred
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Demonstrated knowledge interpreting and managing (work-in-progress, WIT) reports
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints preferred
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n* Experience operating in a complex matrix business environment is desirable<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
