The Director will demonstrate significant knowledge of Social Media including strategy, major + emerging social platforms, and the tactics necessary for delivery of complex Social programs. This role will oversee all efforts to improve the member experience through relevant and consistent messages across all marketing channels (site, email, push, social media and print)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\n<strong>Specific Responsibilities Include The Following:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Develop and implement creative and highly measurable social media programs and campaigns, with user engagement and experience in mind that aligns with digital strategy<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Identify new opportunities for\u00a0 Social Media strategy and manage brand positioning across all social media channels globally<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Use data to gain insights to affect efficient communications planning and overall efficient media buying; monitor and analyze performance of each campaign to measure impact<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Create and oversee social and community content creation processes and guardrails partnering with existing expert content creators in editorial and creative teams<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Monitor trends in social media channels, tools, and metrics and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of the program; remain current on social media industry developments<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Grow fans and followers by driving paid and organic social programs<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Be the voice of the customer in the company representing their needs and advocate for the development of effective customer communication<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Champion persona work and insights to ensure relevancy in member communications<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Evaluate partnership and innovation opportunities with external vendors<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Work closely with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent with the overall Gilt brand<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Mentor and develop social media team members<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Candidate Profile<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">We seek a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritize, be flexible and adaptable. Specific skills that are needed for success in this role are:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Direct experience with all major Social Platforms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Ability to properly forecast social spend and activations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Experience overseeing a full social strategy: media, content, community management, moderation and analytics. Highly analytical with a strong understanding of performance metrics as related to social endeavors<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Strong interpersonal skills \u2013 able to and enjoy working cross-functionally and across multiple business units to achieve company goals<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Mastery in and passion for all social media channels<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Ability to partner with other leaders (creative, editorial, integrated marketing) to align teams\u2019 content output across channels (internal \/ external)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000033; line-height: 1.3em;\">Ability to work in a fact-paced environment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Additional Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Must have experience in Fashion<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">8+ years relevant experience in digital marketing experience with an ecommerce background; minimum of 6 years focused on social media strategy<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, or related field<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Experience acting as a social media thought leader influencing senior executives and gaining buy-in<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Proven ability to scrutinize large amounts of content, identify and fix issues<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Experience managing social budgets in an efficient manner on major platforms<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and reconciling differences<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Excellent judgment and organizational ability<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Excel<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Our client offers a competitive compensation package that includes a\u00a0base salary\u00a0plus commission\u00a0and benefits.
