\n<\/strong>To keep up with the company\u2019s anticipated annual 50 percent growth, Our client , a leader in energy-efficient lighting, is seeking a qualified, experienced Electrical Engineer to join\u00a0 our client
\nIn your role as an Electrical Engineer, you would become part of our growing engineering department and be responsible for developing and testing new and existing lighting products to meet industry and market demands.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Perform product design, development and testing activities
\n\u2022 Perform\/Support qualification tests related to electrical, thermal and environmental requirements of LED drivers and fixtures
\n\u2022 Generate engineering documentation e.g. specification, schematics, layouts, BOM and qualification reports
\n\u2022 Work with the regulatory agencies (e.g. UL, FCC) to obtain relevant approvals
\n\u2022 Work closely with and support quality department<\/span><\/p>\n


\nQualifications:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Minimum BS+3 or MS+1 year of hands-on Power Electronics design experience
\n\u2022 Technical competence in Power Supply design and Analog\/Digital and Micro-controller based designs
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of switched-mode power supplies and its power conversion topologies<\/span><\/p>\n

(PFC, boost\/buck\/fly back converter)
\n\u2022 Understanding of current and voltage waveforms in power conversion circuits
\n\u2022 Experience in power component selection
\n\u2022 Experience in PCB layout
\n\u2022 Knowledge of UL and regulatory requirements for lighting including Energy Star and DLC a<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like Zigbee, Wi-Fi, BLE is a plus
\n\u2022 Knowledge of firmware a plus
\n\u2022 Knowledge of Lab view a plus<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
