The role requires an understanding of Naval Architecture principals and the ability to use that knowledge together with sound engineering judgement to solve customers\u2019 mission-critical problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Chef Naval Architect, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions across a wide range of tasks, from concept design studies, new build bid submissions to inclines and test and trials. You will be required to be support the development of not only the technical solutions but also the individuals and teams you work in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, you will provide solutions to manufacturing and installation issues by assisting in the resolution of technical and production queries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as importantly, you will develop and enhance your own capability and knowledge, while ensure that, health, safety and environmental requirements are implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General Duties and Responsibilities, include:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>You will have experience working with engineering teams as well as good written and verbal communication skills.<\/li><li>Compile quotations for drydock and conversion projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Oversee Maintenance of&nbsp; quay and all related facilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Set up operation procedure, safety measure and procedure, maintenance procedure ISO .\/ CLASS and shipyard conformity with all relative authorities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Oversee recruitment of staff, including of interviewing and selection of production workers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Oversee&nbsp; safety and compliance of safety procedures regarding&nbsp; ship repair activities, day to day operation of respective vessels under repair, dock and wharf schedule<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Manage workforce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Manage project schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Set up general filing archive\/ port authority approvals \/ all related documents for the smooth operation of the shipyard and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Oversee all shipyard business, safety and operation related matters<strong>If you are interest for the position, you can send your CV at the hr department of Manager\u2019s Office via email <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@managersoffice.net\"><strong>hr@managersoffice.net<\/strong><\/a><strong> noting the position code<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manager\u2019s\u00a0Office (www.managersoffice.net ), seeks a CHIEF NAVAL\u00a0 ARCHITECT as SHIPYARD MANAGER with\u00a0 perspective and deeply felt passion for the industry&hellip;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mo_disable_npp":""},"categories":[179,156],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v15.7 -
