style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Manage the most cost effective routing of inbound and outbound shipments for the Retread\/Distribution Centers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Serve as operational project lead for implementation of new Transportation Management System.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Configure and maintain all operational aspects of Transportation Management System.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Serve as liaison between distribution centers, information technology team and internal and external freight carriers.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Process daily routing solutions for outbound shipments.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Monitor deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate records of all transportation activities.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Schedule routing and delivery of inbound import and domestic deliveries into distribution centers.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Track and provide reporting on inbound and outbound transportation costs.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Other duties assigned as needed.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Education: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">HS Diploma or equivalent.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Bachelors Degree in Transportation\/Logistics\/Supply Chain.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Experience: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">3-5 years experience in Transportation Management Systems and shipment routing.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Prior operational experience supporting distribution center shipping and receiving operations a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Skills: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software applications and computer programs.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Proactive, critical thinking and follow up organizational skills.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Team work and time management skills, and an ability to be detail oriented also required.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">The need to deal with a great diversity of people, and the possibility of occasional evening and\/or weekend work<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Typical Physical Demands: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Requires normal range of hearing and vision. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
