Role Description\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lead development of evidence-based guidance for financial targets and demand forecasts for the U.S., aligning stakeholders on assumptions and analytical methods:
\n*Facilitate strategic planning, scenario development, and opportunity assessment
\n*Assess event risk, competitive pressures, and effects of reimbursement policy
\n*Provide strategic decision support for the clinical and early phase pipeline
\n*Integrate forecasts with promotion impacts
\n*Reports to Commercial Assessment Lead in Commercial Decision Analytics<\/p>\n

Responsibilities <\/strong>
\n*Responsible for forecasting support of the Oncology portfolio of products (both in-line products and pipeline assets).
\n*Manage multiple forecasting projects concurrently
\n*Lead interactions with Finance, Business Development, Marketing, and Strategy, facilitating alignment on forecast process and assumptions across these organizations
\n*Engage with senior commercial leaders and provide insights to support decision making
\n*Lead and execute high-quality, accurate analysis through stakeholder engagement, applying cutting-edge analytical methods
\n*Communicate model results and Implications to senior leadership and business partners
\n*Gain stakeholder buy-in on forecast tool architecture and forecast process automation, and execute the solution
\n*Provide guidance to junior members of the CA team on tool\/methodology development, and stakeholder engagement and alignment
\n*As a member of the BAI client engagement team, partner with BU aligned BAI colleagues and other CDA members to provide BAI support<\/p>\n

Qualifications <\/strong>
\n*12-15 years of total quantitative\/analytics experience, and
\n*8-10 years of pharma experience
\n*Consultative problem-solving approach, customer orientation, and strong collaboration skills
\n*Excellent communication and presentation skills
\n*Extensive experience developing sales volume-based, patient-based, and epidemiology forecasts of pharmaceutical sales and product administrations
\n*Ability to effectively facilitate a cross-functional discussion and achieve alignment
\n*Ability to work closely with senior management and clients, providing business insights, challenging their thinking, and managing their expectations
\n*Proficient in forecasting pipeline, launch, and in-line products
\n*Excellent knowledge of time series analysis and statistical methodology
\n*Background in a forecasting or planning function with Oncology is preferred
\n*In-depth knowledge of the pharma industry: oncology therapeutic approaches, key players, reimbursement dynamics, market levers and business drivers<\/p>\n
