ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the creative development process for all e-mail and social campaigns and initiatives
- Lead the development of social and email initiatives by aligning with business goals and marketing calendar.
- Responsible for timely coordination and production on a campaign basis of SEM, social and email, collaborating with necessary departments, partners and agencies.
- Develop tracking and reporting campaign metrics and provide analysis and results of all campaigns
- Report and seek business intelligence, competitor analysis and performance analytics on a regular basis. Report on site KPI’s and user trends.
- Manage project timelines for each project area.
- Analyze all data to develop go-forward plans and strategies to enhance channel performance.
- Quantify success and efficiency of digital promotions, paid media campaigns, and social engagement through various analytic tools.
- Interact regularly with merchants/buyers, regional managers and Field VPs to fulfill all requests and strategize campaigns. Work cross-functional with other departments to ensure time, product availability and planning on all initiatives.
- Assist in the growth of company’s online sales via SEM, email and social enhancements
- Develop SEM campaigns based on key shopping periods, tracking ROI and success
- Continuously look for new ways to drive sales on our ecommerce sites through digital channels
- Oversee the fulfillment of all vendor contracts.
- Research new tactics and strategies to build digital campaigns and initiatives
- Build strategy to grow traffic to our student blog, TheCollegeJuice.com
- Develop and strategize social, email and SEM campaigns around athletics marketing, hot market activities, as well as campaigns for specific customer segments (ie. Alumni, new students and parents).
- Oversee two direct reports and assist in growing them toward their career aspirations
- Complies at all times with the Standards, policies and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics set out in the Bookseller Handbook.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field
- 7+ years SEM, Email marketing and social media experience
- Highly-experienced in e-mail marketing
- Experience with Exact Target preferred
- Coremetrics or Google Analytics knowledge a must
- Retail digital marketing experience a must
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
